1.  Eurong Beach Resort is situated 35km from the southern tip of Fraser, and on the eastern end of the main east west road across the island from the Fraser Venture ferry landing.  A new complex containing a restaurant, lounge bar, coffee shop and television bar overlooks a large free form swimming pool.  The old resort nearby has a casual beachfront bar, beer garden, pool, and now provides backpackers accommodation.  The resort complex has a bakery and a well stocked supermarket offering a large grocery range with souvenirs, camping and fishing gear, ice, fuel and gas.

2.  Fraser Island Retreat at Happy Valley is a smaller, more island style resort with a combined restaurant, bar and balcony lounge.  There is a pool and nine cabins, which can accommodate up to thirty guests.  This venue is also on the eastern, ocean side of the island.
